Staff were exceptionally friendly, helpful and accommodating. We stayed on our motorhome for only one night on our voyage back from seeing the far North and this site was good enough to have us overnight. It’s actually a beautiful part of NZ we didn’t know about. The facilities here such as bathrooms, toilets are cooking facilities are ultra modern and clean and there are go-karts/pedal carts for the kids available, a very family friendly oriented site. Thank-you for having an office open past 6:30pm for long distance travellers, it was very convenient and refreshing for us to be able to check in. Cheers

Man, what a spot. First time camping here, definitely won't be the last. Everything you could need in one place. The place is emaculately clean and brilliantly maintained. Super kid friendly and right by the beach. All round awesome.

The best place for our family of six, with four boys from five to twelve they could pay in the water half the day and explore when the ide went out. Full day out doors for everyone. The service and staff where a joy to deal with. We are already planing our next trip there. Barry Eade

Whangateau Holiday Park is a fantastic destination! They have a massive amount of space for their camp grounds, the playground has so many activities to keep the kids entertained and the beach is a stones throw away. The kitchen facility is top-notch and the toilets and showers are brilliant!

We were part of a large group and found the space really well set up and easy to use The caravans were comfortable and had what we needed. A lovely calm spot to visit

Powered Tent site. Excellent facility, amenities- clean, tidy and super friendly staff. Tidal Estuary when full tide safe swimming, SUP and kayaking. Awesome kitchen facilities fridges, bbq area, charcoal burners and dining area. Laundry, and multi shower and toilet options - clean. It is 40 mins north of Albany, Auckland and 7mins to beautiful Matakana markets and villiage. We absolutely loved it!

Amazing cozy getaway for the whole family or just the 2. Amenities are 10/10. Perfect way to relax with family and enjoy the boujee camping experience.

As a caravanner, we don't use the cabins/rooms. However, the management team is always great, the facilities are superbly clean and well maintained, and the peace and serenity of this site is unsurpassed. An amazing experience, thank you.
